ISLA DIVING

The Isla Diving operates as a diving center and scuba school from 1996 in Carloforte, on the St. Peter’s Island. We are located along the south-west coast of Sardinia, where a pristine and shimmering sea, full of life, surrounds the windy coasts of the island and opens towards the Mediterranean Sea. In these clear waters, seasonally, you can dive in the tuna fishery and witness the ancient ritual of tuna fishing. We organize scuba diving in a sea rich in marine life and courses, also for children, from beginner to Divemaster, as well as various non-diving activities, such as the wonderful tours of the island or the exciting snorkeling trips.

St. Peter’s Island has a volcanic origin; for this reason the sea depths are very diversified: here you can find wonderfull shallows, caves and vertical walls. This variety of diving sites can satisfy the needs of both beginners and the experienced divers. Fans of underwater photography will find great satisfaction thanks to this rich flora and fauna and the presence of pelagic fish. In order to offer the best service and maximum safety, the dives are conducted in groups of a maximum of 5 divers with a trained dive-guide, able to explain the features and beauty of the sea depths. We organize half-day diving excursions, in the morning and in the afternoon and night dives. We also offer guided excursions for non-divers who want to go snorkeling, even at night, to visit the beautiful coast of the island.

We organize scuba diving courses from beginner to divemaster. The lessons take place in our comfortable classroom through the use of modern tools as video and slides; practical lessons take place directly into the sea: on the beach adjacent to the diving center exercises in low water can be performed, while the open water dives take place by boat. During the initial courses students are provided all the diving equipment they need. To meet the needs of our students, the times and dates of the courses are extremely flexible and customizable. The classes are created so as they are never crowded, allowing thereby an attentive service and a strong focus on students’ needs.
