Vor 26 Jahren wurde Extra Divers ins Leben gerufen. Ein Jahr später wurde die Basis auf Gozo eröffnet. Nach einigen Umzügen hat die Basis nun an der Triq Il-Hamri auf der Rückseite des Grand Hotels eine neue Heimat gefunden. Das traditionelle gozitanische Haus beherbergt die Basis, der traditionelle Stil der Rume wurde beibehalten. Office, Verkaufs- und Schulungsraum, eine grosse Werkstatt mit zwei Kompressoren und ein grosser Raum für das Mietmaterial sind vorhanden. Die Spülbecken und die Lagerplätze für die Gästeausrüstungen sind hinten auf den gedeckten Terrassen zu finden. Der luftige Ort lässt das Material schnell trocknen. Natürlich ist auch ein WC vorhanden und eine Verpflegungsecke.
