Diving in Kona

Most of the diving on the Big Island of Hawaii is done off the coast of Kona. One of the most amazing and famous dive sites is The Manta Ray Night Dive. Coast dive charters will take you out at night to Manta Ray Village. From there they will set you on the bottom of the ocean, and point at a big, bright spotlight straight up toward the surface. Once there, you only have to wait for the manta rays to swoop right over your head. You must also experience the pelagic black water night dive and see the underwater lava tubes and interesting formations.
