Diving in Ambergris Eastern Shore

The rest of Ambergris Caye’s 25-mile coast is littered with over 40 dive sites all along the eastern side of the island. Although none of them are shore-dive accessible, they are but a short speedboat ride away. These spur-and-groove reefs are rich with coral gardens, deep canyons, swim-throughs, undercuts, and sand flats. Some of the amazing dives not to be missed include Palmero Canyon, Sandy Slope, Mexico Canyons, Tunnels, Rocks, and Cut, Punta Arena Canyons, and Tres Cocos just to name a few!
