Diving in Batroun
The dive sites in Batroun are so close to each other that you can experience several quality dives in one day. You will find the Cement Freight Wreck, a small freighter that sunk in 1939, lying at 40m (130 feet). A couple of hundred meters north of it, there is a small cavern known as St Catherine, suitable for those certified in an Overhead Environment specialty. Further to the north, there is another small cavern known as the Air Cave, which is a shallow passway under the rocks that goes up until it reaches the surface.
