Diving the Big Brother Island

The larger of the two islands, Big Brother Island, sits to the north of ’Little Brother’ and is among some of the best diving in the Red Sea, if not the world. Reachable only by liveaboard, diving Big Brother has it all from deep wall drop-offs to large pelagic encounters. These waters are also home to two exciting wreck dives, the Numidia and the Aida. The Numidia, also known as the Railway Wreck, is a 130m long British wooden cargo ship that sunk in 1901 on her way to India. The Aida, a 75m transport supply ship, sank in 1957 when it ran aground right into the island.
