Diving in Blindsee

The Blindsee is a mountain lake and lies at an altitude of 1,093 meters (3,586ft). It has an area of around 22 hectares (54 acres) and a maximum depth of 25 meters (82ft). The lake is privately owned by a hotel in Lermoos. Normal bathing is allowed, but an extra permit may be required for diving or fishing. In addition to the good visibility, the lake is known for its fascinating Austrian underwater life such as its large fish population and submerged underwater forest environment – all of which offer scuba divers the opportunity to experience Tirol’s amazing scuba diving.
