Diving in Bodensee

Lake Constance, or Bodensee in German, is a popular lake on the Rhine in the northern foothills of the Alps. The second largest freshwater lake in Western Europe, its shorelines lie in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, as well as Switzerland and Austria.

Reaching depths of over 243m (800ft) feet in parts, making it a perfect site for seasoned divers, as well as beginners.

With a multitude of underwater features, including a few wrecks, over 45 species of fish, and some interesting fauna, there is much to be discovered. A warning, water temperatures are cool, barely reaching 10C even in summer.
