Diving in Byron Bay

One of the most important dive regions in Byron Bay is Julian Rocks Marine Reserve, also known as “Nguthungulli“; more than 1000 marine species inhabit this marine reserve and diving in this place you will encounter sea turtles, humpback whales, dolphins, rays, sharks, marine invertebrates. Byron Bay has many different types of corals, hundreds of fish species and a very diverse marine life. Other important dive sites you must visit are Needles, Hugo’s Trench, Elwood Trench, Anemone, and the Nursery, suitable for all levels of divers.
