Diving in Cabo de Palos

Cape Palos (Cabo de Palos in Spanish), is a small range of volcanic mounts that form a rather small peninsula at the tail end of La Manga, close to the city of Cartagena. It offers up a real paradise for experienced divers, mainly due to its many world class ship wrecks.
Between Cabo de Palos and Grosa Island (Isla Grosa), one will find all types of ships, and artifacts; vessels from WW1 and WW2, and even a Phoenician boat dating back 3,000 years.
It well worth photographing these vessels encrusted with marine corals as well as red and black gorgonians, on the deeper wrecks.
