Diving in Chuuk Truk Lagoon

The main attraction of the Chuuk region is Chuuk Lagoon, also known as Truk Lagoon. Hundreds of divers come to this area every year to explore its world-famous WWII wrecks. Visibility is high and ranges from 40 to 100 feet (12 to 30 meters). You will be able to view an entire wreck from bow to stern in these crystal-clear waters. This region is perfect for both beginners to technical divers alike. Explore the 436-foot long (133 meters) armed aircraft Fujikawa Maru or other wrecks that rest much deeper such as the Aikoku Maru, a submarine tender whose superstructure starts at 130 feet (40 meters).
