All year round you will find perfect diving conditions in Davao, which has most of its dive sites concentrated on a group of islands to the east of Davao City. Most famous among local divers is the nearby Samal Island, with powder white sand beaches and spectacular sites such as Aundanao Marine Sanctuary and Pindawon Wall. In both Davao and Samal, you will find large gorgonians, healthy reef-life, and regular turtle encounters. To the south, you can visit Mushroom Rock, a site well-known for its steep walls adorned in soft corals.
