Diving in Echinger Weiher

The Echinger Weiher is a small lake situated north of Munich in Eching, a municipality in the district of Freising, Bavaria. Located within a nature reserve, its clean waters offer divers perfect conditions for year-round diving, however night dives are prohibited.

A popular lake with local divers and underwater photographers, its submerged landscape is known for its beauty and interesting features, such as gates, fallen trees, and green and yellow flora.

With only a maximum depth of about eight metres, the lake is more suitable for beginners and novices. However, fish divers might be interested in its marine fauna, which includes pikes, perch, and carp.
