Under French law, scuba diving centers are entirely responsible the diver. As diving is governed by the French Sports Law, the person leading the dive, known as the Dive Director, is responsible for what occurs the entire time. France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic. Famous for its romantic capital, and gastronomic delights, the country also offers some interesting diving adventures, accompanied by cool waters, gentle waves and stunning underwater landscapes. Boasting three seas, each region presents dives of all levels with something different. Go wreck diving in the cool waters of the North, where there are numerous underwater vessels to explore. Or experience the pristine warmer waters of the French Rivera, with visibility up to 30m, occasionally 40m on a good day.
