Diving in Gosausee

Lake Gosausee, with its towering Dachstein massif in the background, is one of the most famous sights in the region. It soars as high as it is buried under the water. Here, you’ll find some of the clearest waters you’ve experienced, with steep walls, edgy boulders and tree stumps to explore. Tadpoles dart around the rocks up to 10 meters (33ft) deep and the lights filters through to create a beautiful green a blue hue. In the winter months you can even try some ice diving.
