Diving in the Great Lake Fürstensee

The Great Lake Fürstensee is set in Müritz National Park, in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It has a total area of 212 hectares (524 acres). Its water quality is very good, and the lake has become a popular diving area. There is also a lively bathing activity at the designated bathing areas in summer, but only for sunshine hours. Here the main fish species you’ll spot on a dive are pike, perch, eel, carp, vendace, zander and tench. And if you’re lucky you may spot a catfish, too.
