Diving in Langkawi

Langkawi is an archipelago made of 99 islands in West Malaysia. The islands provide habitat for a vast range of tropical life. Warm waters of 28º to 30 ºC (82 to 86 ºF) surround this area all year-round. Be prepared as jellyfish season happens during the last months of the year. Visibility ranges from 5 to 20 m (16 to 66 fet) due to the high density of plankton. This area has an abundance of pelagic fishes like reef sharks, jacks, and barracudas. The best diving season in Langkawi is from November to April.
