There are so many reefs around this region of Phuket and you can even explore them with shore dives. Try Kata Beach Reef, one of the best Phuket dive sites for its great marine life from snake eels to squid, seahorses, rays and octopus. You’ll find amazing boulders at Kamala Beach, while the tin dredge Tin Lizzy is a wreck covered in marine life. At these sites you’ll see everything from blue spotted stingrays to lionfish and scorpionfish.
