Diving Malta Island

Malta, the largest of the three main Maltese Islands, has a surface of just over 300km2 and houses the majority of the historical wrecks in this region. Great wreck dives here include the Maori and the Rozy, both of which are accessible for beginners and advanced divers. Other exciting Malta dives include the deeper wrecks of Um El Faroud and Gozo, both of which are suitable only for more advanced divers. Reef diving here is also fantastic. Additional popular dive sites include the beautiful Qwara Reef, the Ghar Lapsi cavern, and the famous Madonna statue in the north that offers excellent photo opportunities.
