Diving in Müritz See

Part of Germany’s Lake District with rich forests as far as the eye can see, Lake Müritz is set in its own national park. It has plenty of dive sites to keep divers of all levels interested. From the eastern shore, the ground gently slopes and only after about 500m (1640ft) reaches a depth of 2m (6ft). In the west, gullies of more than 10m (32ft) deep run along the shore. A large variety of German underwater species characterize the Müritz including the river eel, brook lampreys, catfish, gudgeons, bitterling, rudd, roach, bleak, perch, and loach.
