Diving in Neustädter See

Lake Neustädter See was once a gravel mine. Now it serves as a bathing lake for the people of Magdeburg. And an even fascinating place for a relaxed dive after work, or a holiday dive destination. There are no dive centers here so registration is not required. The 6m (20ft)-deep water is particularly suitable for diving outside the bathing season because that is when the area is not enclosed. During your dive you could see freshwater marine species such as perch, pike and also eels. This pebble lake is an excellent dive site for night dives.
