Diving in Ngemelis

Ngemelis Island is where you will find Palau’s most visited dives sites. The most famous and popular dive site is Blue Corner, a place that offers strong currents and significant fish action. All around Ngemelis Island, you’ll find big drop-offs and fantastic wall dives, with walls so close that you’ll find them within just a few feet away from the island. Make sure you explore the magnificent walls of Big Drop-Off and Ngemelis Wall, with reefs that drop straight down to 900 feet (274 meters); Ngemelis Wall was also one of Jacques Cousteau’s favorite wall dives. German Channel is one of the most famous dive sites in the area due to the manta ray cleaning station located there; also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for plenty of sharks.
