Diving in Orkney Isles

Towards the end of WWI, in 1919, there were no less than 52 ships and submarines that were part of the German fleet sunk in this area of Scapa Flow, right off the Orkney Islands. While many of these ships have been salvaged and brought to the surface in the last century, there are plenty of remaining wrecks to explore. It is an amazing underwater time capsule of the military history of WW I. The currents are strong here (hence the name) so less experienced divers should be careful.
