Diving in Papudo

Papudo is an excellent area within the Valparaiso region, with dive spots for all skill levels. Explore unique rock formations, cliffs, and pinnacles. The most famous rock formation is “Punta Pite,“ which protects the bay from swells, creating great dive conditions most of the year. There are at least ten named dive sites less than a 20-minute boat ride away like Bajo de los Colores, Punta Gruesa, Punta Pite, and Bajo del Chijete. The visibility ranges from 10 to 30 meters. Diving in Papudo, you will see walls, kelp forests, and rich diversity of invertebrates and fish.
