Diving in Perhentian Islands

Off the coast of Terangganu you will find the Perhentian Islands. They are made up of two main islands: Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil. This is a popular option among families, snorkelers and divers. The best season to travel is from March to October when the island is available for diving. Perhentian is a nesting home to the green and hawksbill sea turtle. You can also find WWII wrecks suitable for advanced divers, such as Sugar Wreck and species such as black-tip sharks and reef fishes. Coral reefs are common in this dive site. Turtle sighting is common.
