Diving the Pianosa Island

Part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, Pianosa Island is a very unique area for divers to explore. It is a place that is heavily regulated, even for divers and only small groups are allowed to dive this area at one time and there are a host of other rules divers must comply with. Due to the small number of divers who are allowed to dive here, the fish and marine life seem very unafraid of outsiders in their habitat and will swim very close, giving divers and incredibly up close and personal dive experience.

The descriptions provided here are intended as general information and personal experiences related to specific dive sites and locations and should not be construed as definitive advice or recommendations.
