Diving in Pichlinger See

Only a few years ago, after the flood of 2002, Lake Pichlingersee couldn’t be used for any major scuba diving in Austria, other than for orientation diving due to its high level of turbidity.
However, with some technical help, its regeneration was fast-tracked and by autumn of 2013, the lake had regained its full integrity, surpassing several other lakes in terms of visibility. Now you can dive the clear waters and enjoying seeing everything from perch and zander right through to pike and carp.
