Diving in Protaras

Protaras boasts several shore dives and two wreck dives. Most of the shore dives are reasonably accessible, with Green Bay being the easiest entry and exit. Green Bay is famous for its shallow cove and is perfect for all levels of training. There are two artificial wrecks 1km from shore, offering advanced divers a great introduction to wreck diving. Generally, the sea is calm, and visibility can be 30m+. Occasionally the wind comes from the north, which can cause reduced visibility and a more challenging entry and exit. If this happens, the south coast is usually flat and calm.
