Diving in the Similan Islands

If you like your dive sites dramatic, head to the Similan Islands, where manta ray feeding stations meet soaring pinnacles and whale sharks like to pass through. These islands are a national park, filled with wonderful marine life, from seahorses to shrimp, lionfish to batfish, jackfish to barracuda. You’ll need to join a live-aboard to explore these islands, with the shortest trips of two or three days, but it is worth the effort for the pristine diving conditions. Make sure you visit between February and April to enjoy the sites at their best.
