Diving in Simon’s Town

Simon’s Town is a town on the Cape Peninsula that is on the shores of False Bay. There are four separate marine habitats in the bay, rocky shores, reefs, kelp forests, and sandy bottoms. This makes for an incredible variety of underwater life. There are also plenty of shipwrecks to explore in this False Bay which had been a major shipping port for many years. On the west side of the bay where Simon’s Town is located, you will find colder waters and heavier currents which makes the area more accessible for experienced divers.
