Diving the South Side of Utila

The most popular and frequently visited dive sites of Utila are located along the south side of the island. These sites are quicker and easier to get to from the harbor than those sites found on the north side of the island. This area is also more protected, and the waters tend to be calmer, allowing for great dives. You can’t miss Aquarium, Little Bight, Black Coral Wall, and the Airport Caves. Another site you must visit, even though it’s a longer boat ride, is the Black Hills, Utila’s most famous dive site.
