Diving in Swanage

Swanage Pier is one of the few sheltered diving locations available on the south coast of England. For this reason, it is the ideal spot for new divers to come and learn the skill. Near the pier, the water is only 4 – 5 meters (13-16ft) deep so it learning there is safe and easy. There are deeper and more difficult dives among marine life ad shipwrecks as you get further away from the pier. This is why thousands of people come to dive in the Swanage area each year.
