Diving in the Silver Bank *

Diving in The Silver Bank you will experience magical, life-altering encounters with humpback whales and their calves. The Silver Bank is located approximately 128km/80 miles off the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Every year from mid-January to March, thousands of humpback whales migrate to this place to mate and give birth. The Silver Bank Sanctuary is the only place you can swim and snorkel with these majestic creatures. Also, you can only access from any of the three boats approved by the Dominican Republic government. You will have plenty of time to interact with these amazing creatures since most trips are a week long.
