Under the watchful eye of a Divi tree you dive here at one of the southern spots of Klein Bonaire. You reach this steeply sloping reef only by boat.

Joanne’s Sunchi (or Joanne’s Kiss) is a beautiful dive site with a deep dropoff. Along this dropoff where a lot of coral grows, there are sand ridges that extend to depth.

Enter next to the pier at Yellow Submarine and head straight out to the reef. Top of reef is around 6 meters, bottom is around 30 meters. Watch out for boat traffic.

This dive site lives up to its name: Something Special because it is just that. An incredible amount of biodiversity calls this reef home; it’s filled with an incredible mixture of hard and soft corals. The sandy areas have discarded rubble that acts as a fantastic artificial reef.

Calabas Reef is the house reef for the popular Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and sits right out in front of it. A healthy reef system with lots of turtles, groupers and even a seahorse or two.

Front Porche (31)

Front Porche is a shore accessible dive site not well known for its outstanding reef, but for its scraps. The site is littered with steel pipes, wreck parts, and old machinery. This interesting mix of artificial reef attracts a wide array of marine life.

Ebo’s Reef (B)

The reef is located on Klein Bonaire, so visit it by boat. It is named after Ebo Domacassé, (one of) the first certified diving instructor of Bonaire.
