Stoney Cove

Stoney Cove quarry was originally a granite mine. In 1958 when quarrying at the site ceased, the quarry filled with spring water. Today, the site consists of 3 main levels: a 6m shelf area, ideal for beginner training, a 36m sump for more advanced training and the main body consisting of 2 large 22m deep areas.

Reel Diving UK Pool is now open to all centres and professionals for hire. It is the ultimate place to dive, Freedive, Mermaid, Snorkel or have fun in the water. The pool is 10m in Diameter and 4m in depth. The training platform is 1.6m and offers a great shallow water area for developing skills.

The pool at Harvey Hadden Sports Village is the main training pool. Measuring 25m by 25m and with a maximum depth of approx 4m, it provides plenty of space for dive training groups to spread out and a lot of space for swimming.

SS Rosalie (Wreck)

The Rosalie was torpedoed in 1915 and now sits just off Weybourne Beach at a depth of approx. 8 meters. She is a lovely dive and covered in life such as crabs, anemones, sponges, and fish. It is easiest to do the dive at low tide slack water.

Dosthill Quarry is a Spring fed, fresh water lake at the heart of Dosthill in Tamworth. Easily accessible from the M42 and the M6 Opening times:-Thurs - 1300 - 2100, Friday - 1300 - 2100, Saturday- 0700 - 1600, Sunday - 0700 - 1600. Last entry is 90 minutes before closing time.

Wraysbury is a great dive site for any diver, but particularly novices and divers needing a convenient refresher dive. With a maximum depth of 14m Wraysbury has a huge number of various sized wrecks, including the fuselage of a 737 plane, a bus, thorpe park rangers, boats, cars, and even a VW camper van.

Eight Acre Lake

Eight Acre has a maximum depth of 14m which is ideal for most training courses, and provides good opportunities for recreational dives. There are several training platforms at varying depths around the lake if needed for training. There are 2 deep entrances to the lake as well as a slope with railings.

Holborough Lake is easy to get to and accessible from M2 or M20. Postcode is ME6 5GN. It is advisable to call Holborough before going to the site to confirm opening times.
