Friedensteich Wittenberge

The Friedensteich is open as a lido in the summer. During the outdoor swimming season there is a snack bar, toilets, changing rooms and showers. The water depth is max. approx. 9,5 m. At about 4-5 m there is a thermocline, below it is quite fresh.

This site is reachable by rubber dinghy. From there you will dive back to the entry at the base on your own. The bottom drops quickly to 15 meters and more.

Kosie’s Dive Basis

A few steps away from the diving center is a diving course. Here you can safely and comfortably board the boat at a slipway and a little later dive off the jetties. Underwater, a varied area with the most diverse destinations awaits you.

This site starts the other side of the bay where you are dropped of by rubber dinghy. From there you will dive back to the entry point at the base past the harbour.

Schweriner Lastensegler (Wreck)

The Lastensegler is the approximately 100-year-old wreck of a historic cargo glider off the island of Ziegelwerder. The excellently preserved wreck lies at a depth of 18 meters on a flat keel and impresses with numerous details.

Görslow

If you come to Görslow by car (limited parking available), follow the path downhill to a small bathing area. At the entrance, turn right about 20 meters and you will find the old diving course at 6 meters depth.

MiG-17 (Wreck)

A particularly rare relic of the Russian occupation period awaits you in the Schwerin Outer Sea. The wreck of a MiG-17 aircraft was long considered a legend, before it was finally found in 2013. This airplane wreck may only be approached from the local base.

Süplingen

Süplinger Canyon is located on the outskirts of the village of Süplingen and is an old quarry. Parking is somewhat within walking distance to the entrance in front of a barrier at the edge of the forest. Way to the entrance about 200m, which then leads down a steel staircase (caution danger of slipping).

Jersleber Lake

The Jersleber Lake (approx. 35ha) is located in the immediate vicinity of Jersleben (Saxony Anhalt). This dive site is well suited for beginners. Larger towns nearby are Magdeburg and Wolmirstedt. At the lake, there is a camping site and restaurant. You can dive directly from the sandy beach. Paid parking lots are available.
