Piscadera Bay

From the beach at Pirate Bay you can step right into the water! The reef starts with some sand but slowly slopes down to the wall that continues up to 40m. Along the way you will come across a pier and jetty on poles. You will also find a research station there.

Parasasa Beach / Crash Site

In 1942 the USS Erie was torpedoed in this area and put ashore. From the ship a Kingfisher plane was thrown overboard and you can still find some wreckage of the plane as well as some parts of the Erie here. The ship itself is not here and was sunk several miles of the coast.

Long Beach

The first dive site just East of Piscadera Baai entrance. Protected from the South East waves, calm surface the majority of the times. with a nice drop-off with sponges and pencil corals, shallow waters with beautiful formations, also nice for snorkelers.

Water Factory / Fisherman’s Wharf

In front of the old water factory lies this gorgeous healthy shallow coral reef. There are lots of different hard corals and large barrel sponges and orange elephant ear sponges with a shallow steep wall just at the end of the coral reef.

Blue Bay Garden

Diving at Blue Bay is possible by signing up at the Poort and later at the Center. It is an interesting bay up to about 6 meters after which the wall begins. Dive around or if you have enough gas towards Blue Bay Wall.

Double Reef

The first reef slopes down to about 14m / 46ft where it becomes a sandy bottom. From there you can see the second reef. The second reef starts around 18m / 60ft and drops down to 30 m/ 100ft and deeper.

Blue Bay the Wall

Diving at Blue Bay is possible by registering at the Poort and later at the Center. Enter the water at the bay and swim a long way out, it is easily a quarter of an hour. The wall is beautiful and continues to great depths.

Superior Producer (Wreck)

Superior Producer is rated as one of the best wreck dives in the Caribbean, located between Double Reef and the entrance to St. Annabaai, this cargo ship sits upright on a sandy bottom at 30 m / 100 ft. The ship sank in 1977 and is covered with coral and sponges and has an openly accessible cargo bay.

Snake Bay

This site is an easy entrance on the right-hand side of the pier, directly under the car park. Sandy bottom with the coral reef starting at 5 m /15 ft and the drop off at 10 m / 30 ft. At 35 m /115 ft the reef turns into a sandy bottom again.

Sunreef is named after the hotel next to the site. The best way to get to it is by boat. It starts with a stretch of sand before you reach the wall.
