Lausen, Kulkwitzer See

Lake Kulkwitz west of Leipzig is known far beyond the country’s borders for its clear water and good visibility. Coming from the road by the lake, drive into the village of Lausen, turn right at Gasthof Lausen, then follow the road to the diving centre.

Kulki Zeltplatz

Immediately near the diving school Delphin is another entrance at the Kulki. This is located at the campground Kulkwitzer See. Advantage, you can drive directly to the entrance after registration at the campground for loading and unloading. Afterwards, the car is parked on the designated parking lot.

Versunkener Wald, Cospudener See

This is a demanding dive site, only accessible by boat. Navigation, perfect buoyancy, and buoy shooting should be mastered. You should be comfortable with cold water diving.

Easy entry from land within the marked out area (suitable for beginners). There are 2 training platforms (5m and 10m). Registration and briefing about the diving school are required. You will receive a waterproof orientation map.

Besides diving Schladitzer See, there are many activities on the water plus an overnight stay area, restaurant, and beach club. Dive site access is only allowed at the diving center. Please register in advance.

The entrance to this site is easy to reach via the beach. The registration and entrance for diving are only possible via the diving center. You can park on their premises. They have changing tables, sinks, toilets, stands, and a cloakroom.

A dive site that is only accessible by boat. Easy to dive and no current. Small forest with fish in the trees. Visibility is very good at + 8 meters.

The dive site is for advanced or professional divers. The dive site is reached by boat. An open water descent is necessary. The visibility is usually very good here with 20 meters not uncommon.

The Haselbacher See is a flooded former open cast lignite mine. It is located at the state border of Saxony / Thuringia and is used differently. On Saxonian territory, the water sovereignty lies with the DAV - Saxony as tenant. The Thuringian part is used for water sports and tourism.

This Dive Site is no longer accessible. The roads leading to it have been blocked by earth by the local mining company and signs have been posted preventing entry.
