Cenote Taak Bi Ha

Dos Ojos is one of, if not THE, most popular cenote in Mexico. Diving cenotes, in general, are for advanced and technical divers. This cenote has two different routes, hence the name Dos Ojos, or two eyes.

1.5 Km (about 1 mile) from the Dos Ojos Park entrance. Cenote with no cavern line, only cave diving and training. Ring of freshwater with a maximum depth of 5 meters. Open water and overhead environment.

Cenote with dripstones, Well accessible via stairs. Good entry - beware of silt out. Maximum 4 - 6m deep and partly very shallow. Must have good buoyancy.

In the Ejido Jacinto Pat, on the same road as Cenote Dos Ojos, Cenote the Pit, Nicte ha, and a few others. 10 minutes north of Tulum. Average depth is 4-5 meters, must have very good buoyancy to enjoy this dive.

DEEP DIVE BUT NOT OVERHEAD , HYDROGEN SULFIDE CLOUD AND AMAZING ROCK FORMATIONS , BEAUTIFUL LIGHT ENTRY’S , THE STEPS DOWN TO THE ENTRY COULD BE A BIT SLIPPERY, RECOMMENDED TO USE BOOTS. THE WATER PRESENTS A STRONG HALOCLINE. ICE ICE MAMMALS REMAINS HAVE BEEN FOUND THERE

Cenote Dream Gate is world renowned as part of the original Sac Actun system, the largest underground river systems in the world. It also gives you the chance to explore 2 cavern circuits of about 40 minutes each, while observing huge calcareous columns, stalactites and stalagmites.

Located near Tulum, Casa Cenote is one of the few cenotes that are open to beginning divers. It is also great for snorkelers due to its openness to the area around it, easy access, and clear waters. This cenote has clear emerald water and many fun caverns to explore.

This dive site is near Tulum, Mexico and is a great site for beginners. The water is shallow, warm, and easy to access. It can be done as a shore dive. There are your typical Caribbean reef corals and sponges mixed with a sandy bottom.

Cenote Carwash is also referred to as Cenote Aktun Ha, located outside Tulum. Taxi drivers (not divers :) ) used to wash their cars here due to the easy access. No more car washing takes place here but it is an easy, interesting dive.

The cenote Tajma Ha is very popular because of its beautiful halocline and its great light. During the dive you experience three very different cenotes, because you dive from Tajma Ha to Cenote Sugarbowl and from there to Cenote Esmeralda. All three give very different impressions.
