De Broezel

This spot is next to the Zoetersbout and is an alternative when it is busy. You can actually dive all day long because the current is not strong. There is a lot of sand and oyster banks which makes it a bit less than the dike revetment.

Zoetersbout

Zoetersbout is an accessible dive site in the Oosterschelde, there is virtually no current here, but it can be felt at the head of the dike. You dive along an overgrown dike wall with eels, lobsters and galatheak lobsters as permanent residents. Dive between the weeds and discover the underwater life here.

Blinde Dam

The spot gets its name from the fact that the dam disappears under the surface at high tide. It is recommended for boat dives because it is quite a walk.

Anna Jacobapolder

The Anna Jacobapolder dive site is directly opposite the Zoetersbout dive site. This site is located on a ferry port where the ferry services used to sail between Anna-Jacobapolder and Zijpe. Currently there is an oyster farm between the main dams.

Zonneschijn

A relatively unknown spot. Nice to visit, swim along the pier and afterwards explore the eastern side of the site. Nice variation between stones and sand.

Zijpe

Diving between the hanging culture is a real must do! As a photographer this provides, especially on sunny days, a great spectacle! Please note, you are not allowed to dive freely here and you need permission.

Stoofpolder “Het Licht“

This spot is nicknamed the Light, after the harbor light that is here. It is a beautiful reef and due to its location at the end of the Oosterschelde the current is minimal. Be careful! Too far to the southwest and you end up in the shipping channel.

St Annaland

There is a small parking lot and you walk along the dike, until the bend, there you go into the water. Easiest to go into the water at high tide. When you dive here at rising tide, you can perfectly drift back to the beach here. Keep in mind that boat traffic can come quite close to the shore here.

Quaak

This spot is the last in the row at Stavernisse. It is a nice spot, alternating with sand, mussel/oyster beds and stones. Not exactly a spot for beginners.

Plaat van Oude Tonge

You can only reach this spot by boat! It is beautiful diving over the bottom and along the mussel strings. Be careful, in windy weather many kitesurfers and without permission diving on mussel installations is not allowed.
