Hide and Seek

This divesite on the westside of the island Mulidhoo has lots of overhangs and caves that are waiting to be explored. Looking into the blue can be very rewarding too.

Thakandhoo Corner

This dive is located on the south reef of Takandhoo Island. Suitable for all levels of experience. We start in shallow water on the top reef, heading deeper on the slope to some small caves / openings, ending at the corner of the reef around some interesting rock formations, between 18 and 30 metres deep.

Golden Wall

A deep wall dive, starting on a top reef with many hard corals, descending over the edge and down a shear wall, covered in yellow, soft corals to eventual deep overhangs / caverns at its base, around 30m depth.

Dhonakulhi Kandu

A beautiful channel location, with a very shallow top reef, sloping to sand at 18-25m, covered with hard and soft corals, abundant with marine life, often with a slight to medium current.

Mathifaru Caves

Depending on the current, either we dive the wall or the caves from the same spot. Suitable for most levels. The top reef sits at around 6 metres, sloping to a wall that drops to around 30. Most of the dive is spent under the large overhangs where the main wall and ceilings are covered by yellow, soft corals.

Cathedral

A shallow 10m top reef, sloping to a beautiful reef wall, dropping to 30m, covered in soft and hard corals, with one large, colourful, naturally formed arch.

Sandbank

This site is situated close to Dhidhdhoo Island and a naturally formed sandbank. Suitable for most divers. The dive starts on the top reef at a depth of 10 to 12 meters, sloping to 25 to 30 meters at the base.

Utheemu Reef

The top reef at Utheemu starts shallow, with a slope/drop off reaching up to 25m+ at the sand. Often with a reasonable current, this site offers opportunities to explore some older coral and rock formations with frequent sightings of grey reef, nurse sharks and eagle rays.

Finey Thila

Finey is one the most colourful thilas in the area. The top of thila is around 15 metres and drops to its base at around 30 metres. The entire thila wall is completely covered by yellow, blue, purple and orange soft corals. A small canyon at one end offers refuge to a vast array of species.

Heaven and Hell / Theefarido Thila

This long narrow “thila“ is made up of three separate pinnacles, starting from 30-35m and finishing with the shallowest part at 15m, this dive site is for those looking for a deeper dive. Best dived with nitrox.
