Shaab Sharm is an impressive coastal reef near Marsa Alam, about 12 km off the Egyptian coast. It is around 700 m long, gradually drops over 200 m deep and is surrounded by strong currents. These promote rich coral growth and attract large fish. Night dives are not possible here.
