Manta Point

Karang Makassar, or Manta Point as it’s more famously known, is Komodo National Park’s biggest dive site at approximately 3km long by 400-500m wide. It is a shallow drift dive site with a beautiful coral reef to the south, dunes to the north, and a rubble coral bottom in between, scattered with manta cleaning stations.

Manta Point / Makassar Reef

Makasar Reef also called Karang Makasar or Manta Point is one of the best meeting sites for manta rays. Beginner divers and snorkelers can navigate this dive spot, offering a gentle drift dive at a depth of 10-15 m. You can dive at Manta Point all year around.

Mawan

Mawan is a small island with white sand beaches and turquoise waters in central Komodo National Park. It holds many surprises for divers, offering huge inhabitants as well as a great macro marine life. Mawan is also a cleaning station for mantas. Divers and snorkelers alike can enjoy seeing them.

Secret Garden offers great scenery for both macro enthusiasts and those looking for larger species. With a gentle sloping reef, in the shallows this site boasts a rich variety of coral bommies, plus soft corals serve as host for huge schools of reef fish.

Police Corner

Police Corner is located in the central area of Komodo National Park. Topography here include huge overhangs. This is an advanced dive site with a medium to strong current. Highlights include the beautiful soft and hard coral. Maximum depth is 30 m.

Siaba Kecil

Siaba Kecil offers some amazing drift dives. We drift along a reef that is filled with small caverns. At both ends of the island there is a beautiful coral garden where we do our safety stop, or wherer less experienced divers can dive. Otherwise this spot is for experienced divers only as currents can be strong.

Siaba Besar is a great combination of coral and sandy bottom, and has a gentle slope leading down to a channel. It is a wonderful dive site for all levels of divers, especially for beginners and dive courses, plus those who just want to relax and snorkel in a calm bay.

Three Sisters

The Three Sisters are three large rocks all connected to each other, all covered with corals, blue sponges, and are teeming with life. You will dive in the shade of the current and finish the dive on the peaks which top at 6, 7 and 8 meters respectively. You may be lucky enough to spot rays crossing on the top of the pinnacles.

Tatawa Kecil is another great dive site in central Komodo National Park for those who love and know currents. As currents can be very strong, this dive spot is for experienced divers only. This spot offers great visibility, pelagic fish, small creatures, and a beautiful coral reef.
