Outer edge of Dr. Grooms Garden, sloping from 12 mtrs / 40ft to average of 23 mtrs / 75 ft although down to 32 mtrs / 105 ft in places. Top of slope with many sea plumes and the deeper you go the harder the coral becomes.

So named for the chance of spotting some of our weirdest critters here like Frogfish, Seahorses, and Sharptail as well as Goldentail Morays. Scarlet ladies, Purple Crowned Seagoddess’ to also name a few more.

Anina (Wreck)

Flat bottomed inter island cargo vessel, it was a container cargo vessel, lying on the starboard side in 31 m / 106 ft of water. Sat at anchor for years before sinking in August 2019.

1 / 4 Wreck (Stern Courier)

This site is the stern section of the Courier wreck in 11 meters / 35 ft of water, resting upside down with the Engine block and hull plates scattered around when it rolled from the top of the reef after falling off a transport barge.

Purple Rain

Named for the Ubiquitous Creole Wrasse found here that tend to swim down on the approach of divers looking like “Purple Rain“. Reef is a mix of hard and soft corals giving a mix of things to be found here on a gentle slope from 10 mtrs / 30 ft to 70 ft / 21 mtrs.

Shallow patch reef averaging 40 ft / 12 mtr. Covered in soft corals with a hard coral substrate and lots of holes. Generally mild current allowing lots of time to explore looking for small critters.

Escape Reef

One of the last sections of reef on the Caribbean side before reaching the Atlantic, this means it can have 2 Kts of current, hence the name! Due to currents be prepared to see anything (potentially, very quickly!). Most sections are between 40 ft/12 mtr and 72 ft/21 mtrs although some reach 30 mtrs/100ft.

MV Shakem, wreck

200ft / 70 mtr Cargo vessel originally built in Germany in 1965, sank in 105 ft / 31 mtrs of water in 2001 due to overloading of cement meant for the Radisson resort expansion. Lots of penetration options to those certified.

Black Forest - Grenada

Named for the Black Gorgonians that are found from halfway down the 40ft slope to the bottom at about 73 ft / 21 mtrs. There are numerous holes and this also is the start of the large Orange Elephant ear sponges lending their colour to this magnificent reef.

Named by a regularly returning diver who said, in the currents experienced there, that all the seaplumes moving looked like the cornfields of Kansas in the wind, this recently discovered deepwater reef 50 - 150 ft / 17 - 51 mtrs was so christened.
