Caceres South

The south side of the Caceres Reef is around 8 meters deep. The deeper area of the reef is untouched from the fish traps which are around at the reef slope. The dive starts out as an overhang of a cliff, full of soft corals and in the deeper area lots of fish.

This is a gentle drift dive, mostly from south to north. The southside is a slope going down to 25 meters and ends up on a sandy bottom. The northside is a slope with a variety of hard and soft corals in nice and healthy condition.

Here you choose between going to a sandy slope right there around the mooring line, or you go to the east and dive left shoulder to the wall. The sandy dive is a great hunt for muck, the beginning of the wall will guide you to a nice hard coral garden before you explore the south of the marine protected area.

Mambaje Wall

A nice coral dive with gorgonias in the deep. In 26 meter a group of white deep sea corals, they alone are a visit worth, we have no other place in the visayas where we saw them too. if your dive will lead you too much to the south you cannot visit them. Dont go early to the shallow, because Storm Pablo was there.
