A marl quarry, it is the best diving area in Opole. It has 2 descents into the water with good access. Parking lot No.1 is the most popular entrance to the water, allows you to penetrate the shallower part of the reservoir.

Lom Šífr - Svobodné Heřmanice

The Šífr quarry is located on the outskirts of the small Czech village of Svobodné Heřmanice and is approximately 140 km from Žilina, near the Czech town of Opava. This slate quarry is approximately 500 metres long, 30-70 metres wide and in this relatively small quarry you will find depths of up to 36 metres. Note the quarry is at an altitude of 450 m above sea level.
