Jackson Reef

By far the most colourful dive site in the Strait of Tiran. This reef is full of colorful and different corals because this is a narrow reef and the currents can pull around it. On the steep wall, you can find an endless amount of soft corals and on the left plateau a fire coral garden.

Ras Gomaa

Very demanding dive site, connecting reef between Woodhouse and Jackson. This site can only be dived in good weather (almost no wind), but it is still difficult to estimate the current.

South Laguna Reef, Tiran Island

Nice dive site for all levels of divers. On the outer reef you have the possibility to dive a forming wall, on the other side there is a small lagoon, which is perfect for beginners and snorkelers. On the lagoon side, you will also find many reef blocks.

Gordon Reef

Gordon reef is most famous for the wreck of the “Loullia” which ran aground on the northern end of the reef in 1981. This dive can be done as either a drift or a mooring dive, mooring on the southern side of the reef.

Kormoran/Zingara. in 1984 the ship that ran ground on the north side of laguna reef. in tiran strait in 10-12 meters underwater. the wreck is completely broken. Only accessible in very good weather.

Ras Nasrani is a beautiful coral reef that can be access with daily boat trips or from the jetty. Two dives can be conducted from the entry point, one is toward the land (inside the reef) and the other is outside the reef where a mild current might be encountered.

This site was named as a tribute to an underwater camera-man, Bob Johnson, who worked in the area for many years. It is sheltered from the waves and wind and usually has weak currents.
