Rihivelhi Caves

Beautiful inner reef dive with lots of overhangs between 10 and 25 meters. Great hard on the reef and nice colorful soft corals in the overhangs. Torch highly recommended!

South west corner of Rihiveli island. This divesite at the corner of the wide channel is a perfect place to observe grey reef sharks. Can be dived with outgoing and incoming current. Offers beautiful overhangs teaming with life.

Rani Corner is a beautiful inner reef dive with a wall starting at around 5 meters and gradually slopping down till 30 meters, with lots of overhangs in between 10-25 meters with great hard and soft corals.

Very nice landscape with beautiful coral rock formations between 5 and 20 meters. In between the rock formations are sandy plateaus with leather and soft corals. Torch and camera recommended.

Lohi Kandu Thila

The outside of this long and narrow thila is covered of hard corals and offers a great variety of marine life. Dolphins are often spotted playing in this area.

Fihalhohi Beru Thila

Fihalhohi Beru is a beautiful thila on the outside reef. There are many schools of fish and often big fish if there is some current. Around the overhangs on the west side you might encounter nurse sharks. Taking a torch is recommended.

Fana Thila

This is a small inside reef, with a drop off on the west side and lots of overhangs. A torch is recommended. This site is full of hard corals on the top reef and is one of the best sites known for its coral.

Lhohi Faru Thila

Huge schools of yellow back and neon fusiliers swarm around the thila together with schools of trevally and barracuda are also around, ready to hunt and feast on the smaller fish.

Fihalohi Kandu

At the outside reef of Fihalohi, a gentle slope goes down to 20 meters. In the sandy bottom there are stone corals and, within it, shelter loads of glassfish and cleaning shrimps.
