Le Serpent

Le Serpent is a concrete wreck that was sunk in 2011 as an artificial reef near Scharendijke. The sinking did not go as planned, which is why the wreck ended up much deeper than planned. After a fatal accident, the wreck was closed and you can only enter through the open hatches. Note! For experienced diver only.

Scharendijke Haven

A short walk along the harbour brings you to the other staircase. On the Grevelingen side you will find the starting tower that was used in sailing competitions. In the water you dive along the dive, here you will come across the remains of an almost unrecognisable wreck. Attention to the harbour entrance

De Zeehond en De Rat

If you enter the water at Scharendijke “kabbelaar“ and continue diving along the wall you will come across 2 wrecks at some point. At 11 meters the Rat, a wreck of 14 meters and at 9 meters the Hond, a wreck of 10 meters.

This is an ideal dive site to turn your weekend dive into a family trip. It is located near a beautiful beach with swimming area, public toilets, and even a water playground.

Westenwind

This relatively unknown spot is a nice alternative when the surrounding spots are crowded. It is a relatively shallow spot, maximum about 2 meters. If you swim further you will come to the channel, please note; deeper than about 10 meters you will come to the channel and from there diving is prohibited.

Dolfijntje

Het Dolfijntje dankt zijn naam aan het voormalig drijvende restaurant en bijbehorende bak waarin een kijkje in de onderwaterwereld zichtbaar was. Het restaurant sloot in 2007 en is sinds de brand van 2009 verwijderd.

Brouwerssluis

Een duikstek met een naam die geschikt is voor hoog water en bij een paar dagen windstil weer. Met laag water is deze duikstek te diep. Let op de restanten van de vislijnen en de stroomrichting van de sluis.

De Muur

The dive site is located around the four breakwaters with the characteristic beaches in between. You can enter the water from the beaches and dive out to the ends of the breakwaters around 5 meters deep, which are beautifully overgrown. The bottom slopes down to about 15 meters. Limited parking spaces.

Kerkweg, Den Osse

Dive site Kerkweg in Den Osse is one of the most famous dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can dive from the jetty on oyster beds, an artificial reef of reefballs and many other hard substrate that is nicely overgrown. The maximum depth is about 30 metres, but you will find most life in the shallow water.

Den Osse Haven

It is a 200 meter walk along the dike. Mean the left side of the breakwater otherwise you will end up in the harbor right away! The first part from the shore is quite shallow and sandy. At about 100m from the shore the bottom then goes steeply down (especially near the breakwater).
