Stausee Soboth

This reservoir floods a former mine. Therefore, the shoreline consists of steeply sloping stone walls. The lake is very dark, but its golden yellow water is impressive, especially in the sunshine. The rocks glitter underwater (cat silver). A very nice dive site, but for more experienced divers.

Alpenaquarium Grüblsee, Präbichl

The attraction of this dive site are certainly the countless fish that approach the diver extremely trusting and curious. Treasure divers are also catered for here. All kinds of objects such as statues, treasure chests or cannons are scattered around the lake.

Half an hour south of Klagenfurt at the Wörthersee is this reservoir for the production of electricity. Dammed up in 1957, 7 buildings were also put underwater. Several prominent building’s remains can be dived here at shallow depths.

Entry by the stairs at the jetty. On the right side there are several platforms and after a few minutes there is a rock wall that reaches to about 25m depth. On the left side is the pike meadow, to about 7m, it is nicely overgrown with underwater plants.
